After learning from various world class presentations for 2 days, the participants from various regions of Asia present unique cultural experience on November 7, demonstrating
‘Harmony in Diversity’ an attribute of the Asian Way a subset of the ANQ Way.
This is defined as
“Working in harmony with nature and amongst each other, sharing common interests; while respecting the diversity of language, culture, beliefs and living habits of different people. Creating a balance between the needs of the various stakeholders and ecological systems.”

Dear ANQ Members, Distinguished Guests, and Quality Professionals,
It is with great honor and pleasure that I warmly welcome you all to the 2025 Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) Congress. This year, the congress will be held from November 3rd to 7th in Bengaluru, India, hosted by Indian Society for Quality (ISQ) at MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.
The theme of this year’s congress, “Quality Innovations Forging a Path to Sustainable Future – Powered by Asian Synergy”, highlights the vision of achieving sustainable development in the Asian region through collaboration and innovation. In today’s world, quality is no longer just a tool to improve products, services, and processes—it is a powerful force driving global and regional socio-economic development. The collaborative efforts of Asia exemplify ANQ’s unwavering commitment to its mission.
Since its establishment in 2002, ANQ, guided by the philosophy of “Quality for Prosperity and Integration” has consistently promoted academic exchange and technological sharing, enhanced organizational competitiveness, and improved the well-being of people throughout Asia. As the hosting organization of the 23rd ANQ Congress, ISQ is dedicated to providing a diverse and innovative platform for participants to explore the latest advancements and achievements in the field of quality management.
The 2025 ANQ Congress will bring together experts, scholars, and practitioners from diverse countries and industries. Through groundbreaking quality research and practical case studies, participants will have the opportunity to share fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. Moreover, the congress will present the prestigious Ishikawa Kano Award (IKA), the ANQ Recognition for Excellence in Quality Practice (ARE-QP), and the Asian Service Award (ASA), honoring individuals and organizations for their outstanding practices or significant exemplary roles in the field of quality. These awards reflect not only a tribute to the practical application of global best practices in quality but also an inspiring vision of excellence for the future of quality in Asia.
ANQ Congress has always been a unique platform that brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an atmosphere of open dialogue, knowledge-sharing, and mutual respect, while creating new value together. This year, with a focus on the power of Asian synergy, we are confident that through quality innovation, we can explore and build a path to a sustainable future. Dr. Duan Yonggang (China Association for Quality) will serve as ANQ Chairperson (2025-26), alongside Honorary Chairpersons Dr. Kano Noriaki and Mr. Janak Kumar Mehta. Their messages will soon be published.
Hosted by the Indian Society for Quality (ISQ), this is India’s third time hosting. I am honoured to serve as Program Chair.
The theme, “Quality Innovations Forging a Path to a Sustainable Future – Powered by Asian Synergy,” invites deep studies, research, and practical applications in Quality Innovations, SDGs, and problem-solving tools across manufacturing, healthcare, education, services, and society.
